Steak 'n Shake, a classic American brand, was founded in 1934 in Normal, Illinois by Gus Belt who pioneered the concept of premium burgers and milkshakes. For over 85 years, the company's name has been symbolic of its heritage. The word "steak" stood for steakburger. The term "shake" stood for hand-dipped milkshakes. Gus was determined to serve his customers the finest burgers and shakes in the business. Today, Steak 'n Shake remains the "better burger" leader, serving premium 100% beef steakburgers, hand-dipped milkshakes, thin crispy fries, and more. Steakburgers are made without preservatives or artificial ingredients, topped with fresh produce, and always hand-crafted to order. Other classics include the Frisco Melt, 7x7, Prime Steakburgers, and fan favorite M&M milkshakes.

Stopped after a visit to Micro Center and satisfied 2 hungry men. I was pleasantly surprised to see the nostalgia inside! Steak 'n Shake was uplifting and fun! The level of hunger was met by my sons choice of the double Prime Steak Cheeseburger Meal. His review was Very Very Good! The fries were crisp and seasoned with salt perfectly. Burger Flavored just right so tasty. Next up a craving for a Strawberry Shake, Choice of Fresh strawberries or syrup of course fresh Strawberries was my husbands choice. They did satisfy the appetites at hand. Oh my where do they put all that food! Great service, fast , courteous and Hot food! Was in the area and wanted a burger. The 4 for $4 meals sold me. I ended up getting two of them and a milkshake. The milkshake was delicious and paired perfectly with the meals. The burgers were relatively good and for the price it was hard to beat the meal I received. Onions rings were very good.

This restaurant has superb service as well as yummy menu. One of my favourite places in the city. The drinks and food came out fast and the rates were economical. I recommend this place.
